"It's been an absolute pleasure working with James. I have been working out consistently for a couple of years now, and felt that I had hit a plateau where I was lacking in both motivation and structure. Working with James has re-ignited my workout spark! We have formed a great workout plan based on my desired outcomes and preferences, and its been really fun to track my progression week on week (which has been consistent!). James is there to answer any queries I have promptly, takes all feedback that I have on board and, most importantly, our weekly catch-up calls are relaxed and enjoyable. "I signed up to Antidote Fitness to help me with accountability. For a long time I went to the gym 3 times per week, however my workouts had no purpose and the quality of my diet was poor. Working with James at Antidote Fitness changed this drastically. James gave me a flexible diet plan with structured guidance on when/how/what to eat, during our weekly catch-ups we would discuss how my body was feeling. James offers a very unique insight compared to previous PTs I have used, holding a degree in Biology, he is able to offer scientific backing to his recommedations. During my first phase we achieved our weight loss target easily and I learnt how my body can operate more optimally moving forwards. James completely changed my view on how to structure my workouts and I will now take this advice with me going forwards. "I’ve been working with James at antidotefitness for over 6 months now and I’ve never felt better in the gym. As I work 5 days a week, I’ve always struggled to find the time and routine that suits me, and have always given up after 1-2 months. "I wanted a way to incorporate regular gym sessions and better eating into my busy life and James helped me to achieve this with visible results. He factored in all the different elements that I enjoy doing at the gym in designing me a programme which not only targeted all the areas that I wanted to work on, but also was short enough for me to be spending a maximum of 45 minutes in the gym. Having someone design a programme specifically for me made so much difference and led me to enjoy going to the gym, which in turn I believe is what helped me to achieve results. James was available if I had any questions about any aspect of the workout or the eating plan and was able to offer guidance and the weekly check ins were a great way of ensuring I was progressing and meeting my targets. "James has an extremely personal and flexible approach to his programmes which made it manageable around a busy work schedule and added a layer of accountability which helped me keep on track and progressing in the right direction. I have been gyming on and off few a few years now, regularly suffering from a lack of motivation and consistency in progress. Working with James has really helped me enjoy my gym sessions and go into each workout with a clear idea of what I wanted to achieve and especially adding to the productivity of each session. Mixing calisthenics workouts on the rings alongside weight training was a really refreshing additional which helped me achieve specific goals around improving my pull-up strength. "I have worked with James for the past 6 weeks now and am already noticing a massive difference in not only my appearance but my physical fitness. James has helped educate me on my training and nutrition while also taking into account my work/life balance. My relationship with both food and fitness has changed for the better and has really meant that I'm holding myself accountable, getting to the gym every week which has also been great for my mental health particularly as it's gotten darker and colder!
